It is with great sadness that I report the death of my friend, Michael Satterwhite, who was very instrumental in helping me set up this web site and its search engine.

Michael was a child actor who performed as Michael Wayne. I first met Michael at Dickens on the Strand in 1982, where he was performing as Bob Cratchitt.

Michael was a magician, a member of International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 39, Society of American Magicians Assembly 19, The Houston Association of Magicians and the Texas Association of Magicians. He was instrumental in helping children learn about magic. He conducted a class at Frankel's Costume Company and at various schools in the Houston area.

His contributions to magic in Houston were numerous.

It is almost a cliche, but he will be missed.
